Fit & Feel. Being based on the CZ-75 has its benefits, and one of those is outstanding ergonomics. Like its progenitor, the Jericho’s slide rides inside the frame. This gives the gun a very low bore axis. Combined with a solid beavertail and a slightly undercut trigger guard, it allows for a nice, high grip. The CZ Shadow 2 is a heavy, steel framed, competition-oriented version of the legendary CZ-75. Like its progenitor, the Shadow 2 is a double action/single action pistol. Unlike most DA/SA pistols, however, it has no de-cocking lever. Rather the CZ-75 was designed with a traditional thumb safety. Glock still has CZ licked in simplicity and magazine prices as CZ mags are pricey. While the P10-C can be upgraded with new controls, triggers, etc., the Glock is still the easier gun to work on. Even so, the P-10C offers more features, better ergonomics, and more configurations, and they do so for about the same price as a Glock 19.

I personally like the Hi-Power better than the CZ-75 because of the frame size and weight. The gun fits my hands better and I'm faster with it. I absolutely love how it feels. That being said, I've had the hammer bobbed, put some thin grips on, put an extended safety on and changed some other things.

It is a sad thing to watch your nation die. There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt. The Gen 4 Glock is likely to be built with the .40 S&W in mind, with the 9mm, .357 Sig, etc. adopting the same frame. It is possible that the Glock engineers have taken the old frame and reinforced it internally, so the guns will maintain the same outward appearance and holster fit. However, a new frame with a new look is a possibility.
