There is no Steam Link app for WebOS. You'd need something that uses a platform that Steam or the Steam Link app can run on and plug that into the TV. (Windows/linux based HTPC, Raspberry Pi, AndroidTV device, or Apple TV.) Depending on the price of said wifi adapter, I would look into getting a device that will work with the Steam Link app.
Re: Add Steam Link app to Roku. It would be up to Steam Link to provide the software. Roku provides the platform and very few channels of its own. Roku runs on proprietary operating system, so a direct port from Android or IOS is not possible. View solution in original post. 7 Kudos.
Here is what you need to do: Connect Roku to your TV, and then connect to your Wi-Fi network. Press ‘Home’ from your remote, and navigate to the home screen. Look for ‘Settings’ on the sidebar and expand it. Under ‘Settings,’ go to the System option. You’ll find the Screen Mirroring option here. So, activate it.In Steam Link app go to settings (the gear icon), streaming, more and more until you're on the page 3/3 and enable HEVC video. It fixed the problem for me. And I've spent a lot of time on it too Take care! Very helpful, it fixed the same issue on my setup as well. Thank you and wish you an awesome day dude. #3.
4 days ago · Netflix on the Desktop with Steam open Link. With Steam Link you can use Steam on your TV. In doing so, you are automatically in the "Big Picture mode". You can use the "Power Button" top right of the image, which is located right next to the settings. You will then enter a menu where you select "the Big Picture minimize".
